My GiveOUT Day 2022 Fundraising Campaign

This GiveOUT Day, I am fundraising to support the trans and queer youth leadership and freedom work led by GSA Network. In support of my efforts, I wrote a queer poem titled “So Queerly Free.” My poem includes two versions: Version A of SQF is a nine-line from the heart piece; Version B of SQF is an extended collection of shorter poems that take each of the nine lines from version A as a starting place.

Throughout the month of June, as GiveOUT Day fundraising continues, I’ll be sharing the extended parts of my work and asking my community to share and support. I believe in the wild dreams of young queers– I know we can feel freedom deep in their bodies, even before the world is ready to welcome us.
